Upgrade Your Hot Water System & Save Up to $1,400
Reduce your energy bills and upgrade to an energy-efficient system with the Victorian Hot Water Rebate.
Eligible households can receive:
- Up to $1,000 rebate on heat pump or solar hot water systems
- Up to $1,400 rebate when choosing locally made products
At Solaraide, we help you choose the right system, handle eligibility, and manage the entire installation process—end to end.
Why Upgrade Your Hot Water System?
Hot water systems account for 15% to 30% of household energy usage—making them one of the biggest energy expenses in your home.
Upgrading to an efficient system means:
- Lower electricity bills
- Reduced energy consumption
- Increased home efficiency
- Lower carbon footprint
Pair this with available rebates and your upgrade becomes significantly more affordable.
How Much Can You Save?
The rebate covers up to 50% of the system cost, capped at:
- $1,000 for standard eligible systems
- $1,400 for locally manufactured products
Additional savings may be available through Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) if your installer is approved.
Locally Made Incentive
From July 2025, choosing eligible locally manufactured products unlocks higher rebates up to $1,400.
