Battery & Inverter System
SolarAide installed a Fox ESS EQ4800 battery system, configured as a nine-unit battery setup providing a total usable capacity of 41.93kWh.
The installation also included a Fox ESS H3-15.0-Smart hybrid inverter, providing 15kW AC power and integrating the new battery system with the property’s existing solar setup.
Both the selected battery system and inverter are VPP compatible, providing the homeowner with flexibility for future energy-management opportunities.
Designed Around Existing Solar
Rather than replacing the existing solar panel system, this project focused on adding substantial battery storage to an established residential solar installation.
The new battery system allows more of the home’s solar generation to be stored and used later, helping increase self-consumption and reduce reliance on grid electricity when solar production is unavailable.
